How to Love Krishna

John, a woodcutter, worked for a company for five years but never got a raise. The company hired Bill and within a year he got a raise. Then John resented Bill's getting a raise after only a year and went to his boss to talk about it.

The boss said, "You are still cutting the same number of trees you were cutting five years ago. We are a result-oriented company and would be happy to give you a raise if your productivity goes up."

John went back, started hitting harder and putting in longer hours but he still wasn't able to cut more trees. He went back to his boss and told him his dilemma. The boss told John to go talk to Bill. "Maybe there is something Bill knows that you and I don't."

John asked Bill how he managed to cut more trees.

Bill answered, "After every tree I cut, I take a break for two minutes and sharpen my axe. When was the last time you sharpened your axe?"

In our day to day life, we can immensely improve our efficiency and effectiveness by regularly sharpening four dimensions of our personality ?
physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

Of the four dimensions ?spiritual dimension is prime and foremost.

Why?

Spiritual dimension gives us overall perspective in life and helps us lead principle centered life. It naturally and holistically promotes overall wellness.

In the present age the recommended process for sharpening the spiritual dimension is chanting the Holy Names of Lord, especially the Hare Krishna maha-mantra.

Srila Prabhupada instructs:

"We can remember Krishna in every moment. We can remember Krishna while taking a glass of water because the taste of water is Krishna. We can remember Krishna as soon as we see the sunlight in the morning, because the sunlight is a reflection of Krishna's Bodily Effulgence. Similarly, as soon as we see moonlight in the evening we remember Krishna because moonlight is also reflection of sunlight. Similarly, when we hear any sound we can remember Krishna because sound is Krishna, and the most perfect sound, transcendental, is Hare Krishna, which we have to chant 24 hours. So there is no scope of forgetting Krishna at any moment of our life provided we practice in that way. "

Why do vaishnavas have so many problems in their spiritual life?

Why do vaishnavas have so many problems in their spiritual life?

Whenever i encounter some difficulty in this world, I recall these lines in my mind.

"The tests are there so Krishna can see whether his devotee have unconditional love and devotion to Him, even when there are problems.

Even though a devotee is put into a circumstance that should make his love diminish, his love increases more and more.
Bad health, financial problems, family members dying, accidents, criticism, etc. could result in a devotee blaming Krishna.

Instead the love of an advanced devotee increases. It is this unconditional love and devotion that purchases Krishna. He becomes obliged to such a devotee and places Himself under the control of that devotee"

Krishna bhajan - Mohan bolo kab aaoge

Mohan Bolo kab aaoge - Krishna Bhajan

Preetam bolo kab aaoge,
Kab bina bol is daasi ko hari charnan so liptaoge..

This bhajan i listened recently, what a beautiful bhajan this is.
Lyrics are so beautiful and deep.
You, too, enjoy this awesome bhajan.

The essence of this bhajan is that we are just waiting for you to come, the love of this world is not real.
Only you, Krishna, is real, everything else is delusion.

Mohan(Krishna) when will you come,
My Lover, when will you come,
When will you embrace me in your feet

(This heart filled with love cries for you,
With this breath, it weaves garland of tears,

In dark, isolated Kunj,
all night, i wait for you to come)

why i call you Shyam,
This is the reason why..

(The love of this world is false,
I had lot of self conceit on my fate,
But it seems now, my fate is also worth nothing.

O Shyam, are you also sulked with me)

These lines are for Meera ji,

naa jee bhar ke dekha naa kucch baat ki - Vinod Agarwal ji

Vinod Agarwal ji bhajan-

Naa jee bhar ke dekha, naa kuch baat ki
badi aarju thi mulaakat ki.

Bhajan ke kahne ka abhipray ye hai ki, hum aapse milna chahte hai.
Aapko dekhna chahte hai.
This bhajan need to be listened to feel the pain of a bhakt.

(We have your sorrow in our heart,
How do we control ourselves in such a situation)

(How can we forget your smile, saavan swings,
We always yearn for meeting with you )

(We always have longed that you will come,
i will devote everything to you,
but it seems i am not that lucky)

Is yogya hum kaha hai tumko prabhu manaye bhajan

Bhajan-
Very Beautiful bhajan.
Kahne ka abhipray yah hai ki jab bhi hum is dharti par aate hai, hum hamesha sukh, vishay, jalan aur maya ke chakkar mein pad jaate hai, aur bhagwaan ko bhool jate hai.
Isliye hum is yogya nahi hai ki tumko manayein.

Is yogya hum kaha hai tumko prabhu manaye

(We are not worthy enough to be accepted by you,
still we are trying, may be you will accept us)

(Surely we are degraded, selfish,
Whenever we call you(take your name), it is actually Maya(delusion) which calls you,
We never feel satisfied with these perishable things)

(Whenever we are born in this world, subjective things surround us,
Fraud camped on our naive mind,
We have always kept our wisdom aside)

(Wherever i see in this world, there is one trend going on,
we always envy others happiness)

(when we are not able to do anything , we have come to you,
We are guilty, and ready to face the punishment)

vinod agarwal bhajan - chhupe baithe ho kan kan mein

Beautiful bhajan by Vinod agarwal ji-

This is very beautiful bhajan by vinod ji.
This bhajan is kind of challenge to God.
It is challenged to God that you will have to break the my shackles so that i can see you.

(You are everwhere, how do i recognize you,
if you can remove this curtain between you and me and come in front of me, then i can believe you)

(When we challenge someone that you cannot do this and you are ashamed of this  i.e. instigate someone, sometimes person gets motivated and does the same thing, this bhajan is sung is same tone in playful manner)

(you are hiding from me, are you ashamed of me?
if you are remove this curtain between us, then i can believe you)

means-
(i just keep listening about you, that you are so beautiful etc etc,
upto when, i will keep only listening about you and not see you)
