Why me???

Arthur Ashe, the legendary Wimbledon player was dying of AIDS which he got due to infected blood he received during a heart surgery in 1983.From world over, he received letters from his fans, one of which conveyed:

"Why does GOD have to select you for such a bad disease"?

To this Arthur Ashe replied: The world over -- 50,000,000 children start playing tennis, 5,000,000 learn to play tennis, 500,000 learn professional tennis, 50,000 come to the circuit, 5000 reach the grand slam, 50 reach Wimbledon, 4 to semi final, 2 to the finals,

When I was holding a cup I never asked GOD "Why me?".

And today in pain I should not be asking GOD "Why me?"

  Srila Prabhupada instructs :

The kala (time) offers the conditioned souls both happiness and miseries. It is all predestined by eternal time. As we have miseries uncalled-for, so we may have happiness also without being asked, for they are all predestined by kala. No one is therefore either an enemy or friend of the Lord. Everyone is suffering and enjoying the result of his own destiny.

In this material world we have to, we are forced to accept happiness or distress according to destiny. You cannot deny, that "I'll not take this distressed condition of life. I'll simply take the happiness portion.?That you cannot do.

It is no use saying that we do not know why and for what we are suffering. We may forget the misdeed for which we may suffer at this present moment, but we must remember that Paramatma is our constant companion, and therefore He knows everything, past, present
and future. And because the Paramatma feature of Lord Krishna destines all actions and reactions, He is the supreme controller also. Without His sanction not a blade of grass can move. The living beings are given as much freedom as they deserve, and misuse of that
freedom is the cause of suffering.

Although the Lord does not favor or abuse anyone, we still observe happiness and suffering in this world. The Gita (13.22) states, karanam guna-sango `sya : We desire to associate with various qualities of material nature, and thus we must accept the consequences. The Lord provides the field of material nature, in which we exercise our free will. Foolish nondevotees not only attempt to cheat the Lord by trying to exploit His nature, but when they suffer the reaction they blame God for their own misdeeds. This is the shameless position of those who are envious of God.

karunamayi krishna priya, bhav paar laga dena - by sri thakur ji

Beautiful bhajan by sri thaku ji-

(karunamayi krishna priyaa, bhav paar laga dena,
jab yaad karu tumri, mujhe apni sharan lena)

Shri Krishna Lori - soja lalla soja

Lori for Shri Krishna-

childhood story of krishna - ukhal story - baal leela

Radhe Radhe,

This story will also explain why shri krishna is also called "DAMODAR".
Mother Yashoda was annoyed with Krishna, because Krishna had spilled all the milk in the kitchen/place where milk was kept.
Mother Yashoda tried to tie Krishna's stomach(UDAR in Hindi) with rope(DAM in Hindi).
but rope fell short by length equal to 2 fingers.
Mother tried to combine many ropes and then tried to tie down Krishna.
Everytime rope fell short by length equal to 2 fingers.

This length(2 fingers) represent ego "AHAMKAR" of human being.
No one can tie Krishna with ego.
He can only be bound by pure love towards Him.
In the end, Mother Yashoda requested Krishna to get tied down.
So Krishna got tied down only by a short rope.

This is why Krishna is also called DAMODAR(DAM + UDAR) .

Message of the story-
1. Krishna can be bound by love only, not ego. If we will have ego left, there will always be a gap of 2 fingers between us and Him.
2. We need to have full love towards Him, means our love should not be divided, complete devotion should be towards Him.

We always divide our things like, this share is for Krishna, this share for family, this share for friend etc.
Everthing is for Krishna, we should extract the share for others(not extract share for Krishna), everything else is for Krishna only.

relation between radha and krishna

Radhe Radhe all,
This post is in Hindi language.
i have explained this in english in my other post.

radha-krishna bhajan - radhe tere charano ki gar dhool jo mil jaaye

Radhe radhe sabko,

I want to share one radha rani bhajan with you all:

English:
Radhe, i wish for the poor dust of your feet
Truly, it will change my destiny.

my mind is very playful, how i chant your name,
harder i try to explain it, that much it yearns.
Radhe, i wish for the poor dust of your feet..

Radhe, in my life, there is just one wish,
when my final time comes, you should be in front of me.
Radhe, i wish for the poor dust of your feet...

Meaning of word Satchidananda(सच्चिदानन्द)

Radhe Radhe Sabko,

With this post, i want to explain the meaning of the word Satchitanand or Satchidanand(सच्चिदानन्द).

Meaning:

Satchitanand(Sat+Chit+Anand) swaroop bhagwan ko hum baar baar abhinandan karte hain.
parmatma ke 3 swaroop shastro mein kahe gaye hain:
1. Sat
2. Chit
3. Anand

Meaning of Sat:
for example, jaise badal aakash mein bante hain, badal to mit jate hain, par aakash kabhi nhi mit ta.
aise hi ye sansaar bhagwan ne banaya hai, sansaar ka astitva(existence) sirf bhagwaan se hi hai.

Meaning of Chit(gyan):
Chit kahte h chetan ko,
bhagwan chetan hai aur sansaar jad(जड़) hai.
jaise hamara ye jad sharis aatma se aashrit(dependent) hai, isi tarah se, ye jad sansaar parmatma se aashrit hai.
is sansaar mein jaha kahi bhi chetna dikhai deti h, wo us parmatma ka hi ansh hai.

Meaning of Anand:
is sansaar mein humein jaha kahi se bhi anand mil raha hai, wo us paramatma ke anand sindhu ka ek bindu matra hai.
humara chit to bindu swaroop se bhi khush ho jata hai, to sochiye us sindhu swaroop mein kitna anand hoga.
infact us anand ki to kalpana hi nahi ki ja sakti.
bhagwaan ka doosra naam hi anand hai kyunki Anand is main component of all these 3.

Hamare jeevan mein aawashyakta(want) to hai paramatma ki, but hum kaamna(desire) karte hain sansaar ki.
here is the proof:
har insaan jeena chahta hai, matlab use SAT chahiye
har insaan ko gyan chahiye, matlab use CHIT chahiye
har insaan khush rahna chahta hai, matlab use ANAND chahiye.
is tarah har insaan to chahiye (SAT+CHIT+ANAND) jo ki paratma hai.
ye 3 aawashyakta(want) natural hai, baki sab kaamna(sansaar ki desire) unnatural hai.
is kaamna ke khatam hote hi insaan ka hriday(mann) krishna ke premanand se prakashit ho jayega.

radhe radhe!!!

when person becomes true devotee?

Radhe Radhe sabko,

Jaisa ki meine apne last blog Gopi cheerharan leela mein bataya, ki insaan ko bhagwaan se milne ke liye vaasna jaise vikaar se mukt hona padta hai, tabhi insaan bhagwaan ko paa sakta hai.

Apne inhi vikaar ke karan hi gopiyan shri krishna ka anubhav nhi kar paa rahi thi, but gopi cheerharan leela ke baad unka vikaar shri krishna ne door kar diya.

Mein aap sabko ek story sunata hun is sandharbh mein:

Ek Sant ke paas thi paras mani(lohe ko sparsh se lohe ko sona bana deti h).
koi ek insaan uska chela ban gaya.
wo insaan bhagwad bhajan aur bhagwad naam ke liye nahi, balki us paaras mani ko churane ke liye Sant ka chela ban gaya tha.
ab sant kumbh ke mele mein snan karne chala gaya, aur peeche se us chele ne poora aashram dhundh liya.
jab use wah paras mani nahin mili, to usne kutiya ko hi khodna shuru kar diya.
Jab Sant ji wapis aaye, to unhone pucha ye tune kyun kiya.
to Sant ji ne kaha, wo khidki par padi to hai paras mani.
jab chele ne khidki mein jakar dekha, to usmein lohe ki dibiya(dibbi) thi.
Chele ne bola ye to mere haath mein kafi baar aayi, par meine ise phenk diya, kyunki ye dibbi to lohe ki hai.
agar ismein paras mani hoti , to ye dibbi sone ki ban jati.

Jab sant ne us dibiya ko khola, to paras mani ek aavaran(covering) mein lipti hui thi.
isliye lohe ki dibiya sone ki nahin ban paa rahi thi.

Phal Shruti(Lesson):
is kahani se humein ye lesson milta hai, ki hum to hai hi thakur ji ke.
bas is vaasna(vikaar) ke aavaran(covering) ke karan hum thakur ji se mil nahin paa rahe hain.
jab ye jeev apne aap ko thakur ji ko samarpit kar deta hai, thakur ji kripa karke ye aavaran hata dete hain
aur hamesha ke liye humein apna bana lete hain.

Who is Gopi and What is venu geet

Radhe radhe ,

In this post, i want to explain who is real Gopi and what is Venu Geet.
Actually, if someone is gopi, it is not based on gender, male and female can both be Gopi.
The only thing needed is full devotion towards shri krishna.
Our love towards shri krishna can be as a sakha, gopi, bhakt or whatever you may like.
Important thing to act as Gopi is, we need not be a female. As a male also, we can treat ourselves as gopi.

Shukdev ji says to Pariksheet:
Whatever Leela Shri krishna used to do in the woods, every gopi could see it from their own house.
Due to deep love with Shri krishna, they had powers of doordarshan, door shravan(listen and see from long distance).
Shri Krishna used to start playing flute along the bank of Shri Yamuna, and gopis used to say to each other:

shri krishna wallpaper with murli

Mohan ki murli baaji re, yamuna ke teer
(Krishna playing flute, along the bank of Yamuna river)

1) Murli baja ke man har leena, kaise bandhaoo dheer...baji re
(He has taken my heart by playing flute, how i contol myself)

2) kali kamaliya, kale kanhaiya, kala hai yamuna ka neer...baji re

4) rom rom mohan man baitha, bandhi prem zanzeer....baji re

I like this bhajan a lot and can be sung/listened all day long by krishna bhakt.

Gopis saw that Shri Krishna is entering in Vrindavan with friends,
unke sheesh par mor ka pankh hai(peacock feathers on his head), kaner ka phool to ek h par kaan do h, shareer par peela peetambar h(body has yellow cloth).
gale mein vaijanti maala hai, shri krishna baansuri bajate chal rahe hain(Shri krishna is walking by playing flute).

Murli manohar ki bansuri sun kar uski madhur taaan ka jo varnan kiya, usi ka naam Venu Geet hai.
(By listening this beautiful flute, Gopis explained this voice in words which is called Venu Geet)
